We are sorry to report that on Sunday night (2nd January) a street-level apartment was robbed, the thieves taking small/manageable items such as Phones, Laptops and Wallets. In this case the resident had left the sliding doors ajar as they were at home sleeping – Please keep your door shut at night!

Please note that these thieves are increasingly bold and will enter your home whether you are there or not.

Do your part to help keep yourself and your neighbours safe:

• Keep your eyes open for suspicious individuals and report them to the Building Manager and the Police without delay
• Ensure foyer doors & courtyard gates are always closed
• Do not admit strangers via intercom or through garage doors
• Close and lock all your windows and doors (even when sleeping)
• Lock up removable items, such as bicycles
• Keep valuables out of sight in your car
• Know your neighbours and watch out for each others

Additional warning – If you see anybody trying to open doors without a key, this is a good indication that they are not residents. Do not confront them – call the police!

What’s going on

Tree trimming

Some of the Gum trees in the south courtyard are look top-heavy and will need to be trimmed.

Stick leaves and bark

The Gum trees naturally shed a great deal of their leaves, bark and dead branches during the growth season. So watch your head for falling branches and if you’re out in the courtyard and it’s looking a mess, grab a few sticks and make a pile for the gardeners.

Weeding

We do manage the weeds with a toxic plant poison, but notices will always be positioned before we commence the procedure.

Spiders

What a lovely habitat we’ve created, and we must share it with our 8-legged friends. They are around, so keep an eye out for them.
